Curveballs & Chaos: How NIL is Destroying College Sports - Short Documentary
Destinee's final semester at Iowa, she collaborated with a group of fellow peers to research the effects NIL has on college sports. She was assigned to produce, write, and edit a short documentary to give more insight into the current state of NIL.
She used everything she learned throughout her collegiate career to help her create this short documentary. It is a piece she is very proud of and one of her favorite projects.

At HerCampus Iowa Destinee wrote articles on topics regarding fashion, sports, and pop culture. She pitched this story to push herself out of her comfort zone to write about a topic that had a lot of meaning to her. In this article she hits on her experiences growing up and how they still translate today.
